50 50 Lottery Club F.A.Q. and Rules
“50/50 Club” Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the “50/50 Club”? –
The “50/50 Club” is a monthly prize draw run by AVG where 50% of cash generated makes up the lottery prizes and 50% goes to the church to be used for the re-ordering. This will make it much more usable within the village.
How many prizes will there be? –
There will be THREE prizes every month with an extra Christmas draw taking place in December.
When will the prizes be drawn? –
The prizes will be drawn every month at a monthly Ashton Village Group meeting/event and announced on the Notice Boards and in the Ashton Village News.
How much can I win? –
First Prize will be 25% of the monthly income; Second Prize will be 15% and third Prize will be 5%. 5% will be held back for the Christmas Prize Draw.
How much will it cost? –
Each number purchased will cost £5.00 each month.
How do I get my Number(s)? –
You will be allocated a unique number for each £5.00 committed to the “50/50 Club” and you will be informed of your number(s) in writing when your application has been processed.
Who can join? –
Membership is open to all over the age of sixteen.
How do I pay? –
Subscription to the “50/50 Club” is either a single six month payment by Cheque, Cash or by a monthly Standing Order. Simply complete the appropriate section of the “50/50 Club” form and return to Stephanie Fowler in an envelope marked “50/50 Club”.

Membership is open to all over the age of sixteen and may be joined at any time.

|
Membership is for a minimum of six months.
|
|
|
Membership can be terminated after 6 months by giving two months written notice to the “50/50 Club”
|
|
|
Membership must be fully paid up one calendar month before the first draw in which the numbers will be included.
|
|
|
Membership is non-
|
|
|
There will be a draw each calendar month at an open social event/meeting and a Christmas bonus draw in December.
|
|
|
Draws will take place in the presence of at least three AVG members.
|
|
|
Winners will be notified and the numbers announced in the next AVN and placed on the notice board.
|
|
|
The AVG “50/50 Club” will take no responsibility for non-
|
|
|
Any member who fails to renew their membership within one calendar month of its expiry date will have their membership terminated.
|
|
|
All decisions made by the AVG “50/50 Club” organisers will be final.
|
|
|
Any member or members found trying to deceive or interfere, for gain or reward, with any member of the AVG”50/50” will have their membership terminated.
