The Book Club

next meeting 21st November

This is a new venture which is being held in the Knights Hall every third Saturday in the month from 10.00 until 11.30 although there will not be one in December.

It is a place where you can buy or swap any book that you like and if you cannot find what you want one month you could try the following as we have some new books every month.  There is a large selection of paperbacks and various hardbacks on a mixture of topics together with a few Children's books.

It is also a place should you want to, where you can have a cup of tea or coffee and a chat. There are cakes to buy or eat and from time to time various other items for sale for example in November there will be some indoor plants available to purchase so why not come and see what is on offer.

We are always looking to increase the range of books so if you do not want to swap them they could be donated  to either Stephanie (4 Hartwell Rd) or Marion (Broadacres, Roade Hill).   Also, we would like a bookcase to make our books easier to view. If anyone has an unwanted bookcase, of reasonable quality as it will be in the Knights' Hall and quite visible, the PCC would be very grateful.
